The Davos Declaration 2018 strives towards a high-quality *Baukultur* for everyone. The document calls for a better balance between technical/economic and cultural/social aspects of *Baukultur*, recognising that building always affects both culture and society and is never an exclusively private matter. Hence, this reminds us that high-quality *Baukultur* can only be achieved through interdisciplinary dialogue and multi-sectoral cooperation.
The 2023 Conference addresses the role of the building and real estate industry considering *Baukultur* as a common good. The Conference explores opportunities for better cooperation between authorities, the civil society and the building and real estate industry through initiating continuous exchange and networking. The aim of the conference is to launch the **[Davos Baukultur Alliance 2023](https://www.uthub.org/davos-baukultur-alliance)**, in which partners from all sectors are represented.
