**Conference of Ministers of Culture, 14-16 January 2023, Davos, Switzerland** The second Conference of European Ministers of Culture under the title “Common Good – Shared Responsibility” took place at the invitation of the Federal Councillor Alain Berset. From 14 to 16 January 2023, the Ministers of Culture discussed with representatives of the private sector how together achieve high-quality *Baukultur* for Europe. Five years ago, the Davos Declaration 2018 “Towards a high-quality *Baukultur* for Europe” was approved at the first ministerial Conference. :::details ::summary[ read more] The Davos Declaration 2018 strives towards a high-quality *Baukultur* for everyone. The document calls for a better balance between technical/economic and cultural/social aspects of *Baukultur*, recognising that building always affects both culture and society and is never an exclusively private matter. Hence, this reminds us that high-quality *Baukultur* can only be achieved through interdisciplinary dialogue and multi-sectoral cooperation. The 2023 Conference addresses the role of the building and real estate industry considering *Baukultur* as a common good. The Conference explores opportunities for better cooperation between authorities, the civil society and the building and real estate industry through initiating continuous exchange and networking.
